The College of Education in Mizda is a newly established institution. It was founded by Decision No. (466) of the Minister of Education in 2018, with the aim of preparing educational cadres in the Mizda region to address the shortage in basic and secondary education schools resulting from the increase in the number of schools in the area. The College welcomed its first cohort at the beginning of the 2018–2019 academic year.
