All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and may the prayers and peace be upon our noble unlettered Prophet, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions, with the best of prayers and the purest of salutations.
It gives me great pleasure and honor to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to my colleagues, the faculty members of the College, as well as the staff, teaching assistants, and students who have contributed to the establishment and development of this academic edifice (the College of Education – Mizda).
Since its establishment, the College of Education in Mizda, affiliated with the University of Gharyan, has devoted considerable attention to setting future-oriented visions, defining goals to be achieved, and formulating a noble mission so that it may bear fruit. This is achieved through preparing and qualifying specialized cadres equipped with knowledge and professional and pedagogical competencies that enable them to compete in the labor market and contribute to serving community institutions, particularly educational institutions. The College provides distinguished male and female teachers for the basic and secondary stages of education, contributing to the building of an educated generation capable of forging its path in various fields of life.
We also aspire for the College to become a national and regional center of expertise in the preparation and qualification of educational cadres, contributing to the development, evaluation, and improvement of curricula for general and higher education institutions, and ensuring that its graduates are highly competitive and effective.
We will focus on developing and improving educational programs in a manner that ensures excellence in teaching and learning, and on promoting high-quality knowledge production by encouraging the research productivity of faculty members and postgraduate students. We also seek to expand community partnership programs with institutions concerned with education in both the public and private sectors, and to implement numerous initiatives that enhance the developmental role of the College of Education as a leading institution in preparing creative and ethically grounded teachers.
The College of Education in Mizda also strives for quality and excellence. Accordingly, we work diligently to attain a distinguished status and a reputable standing, aspiring to be the most outstanding and innovative institution in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service. This is pursued through providing an appropriate academic environment for students that fosters creativity, excellence, and innovation across all fields, supported by continuous material and moral support.
Furthermore, we look forward to achieving our desired goals in enhancing administrative and academic performance, spreading a culture of quality, developing the capacities of faculty members in educational, research, and pedagogical domains, elevating the level of applied research, and strengthening ambitions toward activating research partnerships at both local and international levels. We also aim to develop educational curricula that serve the needs of society and to promote a culture of lifelong learning.

Description
The College of Education in Mizda is a newly established institution. It was founded by Decision No. (466) of the Minister of Education in 2018, with the aim of preparing educational cadres in the Mizda region to address the shortage in basic and secondary education schools resulting from the increase in the number of schools in the area. The College welcomed its first cohort at the beginning of the 2018–2019 academic year.

Mission
The mission of the College of Education is to prepare teacher-researchers and professional practitioners of education, equipped with the highest educational values, capable of advancing the educational process and contributing to the development of educational theories and practices through scientific research in cooperation with local and regional institutions. The College is also committed to offering distinguished, innovative, and contemporary academic programs, producing rigorous educational research that enriches human knowledge, and implementing effective community partnerships that contribute to serving society.
